Sagol School of Neuroscience

The Tel Aviv University (TAU) Sagol School of Neuroscience is the first and only interdisciplinary neuroscience school in Israel. The Sagol School of Neuroscience coordinates curricula and provides a center of academic multidisciplinary teaching and research on Brain Science between six faculties (life sciences, medicine, social sciences, exact sciences, humanities and engineering) and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in Neuroscience. These programs include B.Sc. programs in Biology and Psychology and in Biology and Linguistics, and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Neuroscience.

TAU’s Sagol School of Neuroscience is home to Israel’s largest concentration of internationally renowned scientists and clinicians investigating all aspects and levels of brain structure and function. Spanning six faculties, TAU has a large community of over 70 neuroscientists whose research combines fields as diverse as biophysics, psychology, neurobiology, neurogenetics, computer science, neurology and psychiatry. State-of-the-art basic neuroscience research is complemented by the advanced clinical research being conducted at 17 TAU-affiliated hospitals and medical centers, providing top-notch translational research.

The Sagol School of Neuroscience is open for applications for Ph.D. and post-doctoral positions and for collaboration with ENC-network’s partner organizations.
